Our Doctors
Dr Allana Mather, DVM
Veterinarian/Practice Owner
Dr. Allana graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. After completing an internship in emergency medicine at Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center, Dr. Allana, a native Wisconsinite and Badger through and through (B.S. in Wildlife Ecology), moved to Traverse City, Michigan to begin her veterinary career at Bay Area Pet Hospital., and where she happily worked through the Spring of 2019. Dr. Allana’s journey to have a small animal practice of her own led her and her husband, Corey, to Vermont twice in 2018. The four-season beauty, outdoor recreation, and overall sense of community and culture made for a perfect fit for them and their two young daughters, Adley & Sena. In June of 2019, Dr. Allana took over ownership of Mt. Mansfield Animal Hospital, with some assistance from Corey on the business administration side of things. Dr. Allana, Corey, and the girls are joined in their Jeffersonville home by Oberon (“Obi” or “Obie”, depending on who you ask), the sweetest, chilliest Aussie Shepard mix you could imagine. When not practicing veterinary medicine or doing one of her other practice owner roles, Dr. Allana enjoys spending time with family, playing in the mountains, traveling, gardening, reading, running, skiing, and enjoying the rare quiet moments
