Dr Allana Mather, DVM
Dr. Allana graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. After completing an internship in emergency medicine at Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center, Dr. Allana, a native Wisconsinite and Badger through and through (B.S. in Wildlife Ecology), moved to Traverse City, Michigan to begin her veterinary career at Bay Area Pet Hospital., and where she happily worked through the Spring of 2019. Dr. Allana’s journey to have a small animal practice of her own led her and her husband, Corey, to Vermont twice in 2018. The four-season beauty, outdoor recreation, and overall sense of community and culture made for a perfect fit for them and their two young daughters, Adley & Sena. In June of 2019, Dr. Allana took over ownership of Mt. Mansfield Animal Hospital, with some assistance from Corey on the business administration side of things. Dr. Allana, Corey, and the girls are joined in their Jeffersonville home by Oberon (“Obi” or “Obie”, depending on who you ask), the sweetest, chilliest Aussie Shepard mix you could imagine. When not practicing veterinary medicine or doing one of her other practice owner roles, Dr. Allana enjoys spending time with family, playing in the mountains, traveling, gardening, reading, running, skiing, and enjoying the rare quiet moments

Mairead started at MMAH in December of 2021. She has lived in Jericho, VT her whole life, and is a 2020 graduate of MMU and the Natural Resources Forestry and Horticulture program at CTE, where she discovered a love for the outdoors and sustainable agriculture. She has always loved animals, and the first time she sat on a horse she knew that was her calling, working at and managing a number of horse farms. Mairead is interested in becoming a certified vet tech and EMT. Away from the clinic, she enjoys being outside with a horse, a dog, in the woods, a garden, or fishing with her friends.
Hannah is new to the Jericho/Underhill area, and is excited to be taking steps towards becoming a veterinary technician, which she is currently pursuing with online classes through Vermont Technical College. She lives with her mom and grandma, and she enjoys spending time with family, outside, or crafting when she’s not working or studying. She has 2 bunnies, Basil and Mia, and a border collie puppy named Finnegan, whom she hopes to work on training as a therapy dog.
Maggie moved to Vermont with her family when she was 2. Since then, her family has brought their pets to MMAH, and as of November 2022, Maggie is very excited to have become a part of the MMAH team. She studied Psychology in college, with a concentration in animal behavior/cognition. In her spare time, she likes experimenting with artwork, hiking with her pup, and eating chocolate. Maggie is also an EMT with Richmond Rescue, and a wildlife rehabilitator! (Baby opossums are the absolute cutest.)

When he’s not busy with that, spending time with his two wonderful daughters, or overseeing their rental house back in Michigan, Corey enjoys exploring (Vermont and beyond), outdoor recreation, and spending time with good friends, family, music, brews, and food.
