10/26/20 COVID-19 UPDATE: Mt. Mansfield Animal Hospital continues to implement the following practices to minimize risk of COVID-19 exposure to our staff and our clients.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation with our COVID-19 protocols. We are offering all services as quickly and efficiently as we can. We appreciate your flexibility and positivity in operating in a method that is as safe as we can be for our community as a whole.
We continue to practice social distancing via the curbside veterinary services we have been doing since mid- March. This means allowing only patients in the building at this time. Though we still miss seeing your smiling faces inside, our exam rooms are simply too small to allow us to stay 6 feet apart. We promise to do everything we can to keep your furry families comfortable and happy!
Call (802) 899-4013 when you arrive. Our staff will help you with delivering medications, bringing your pet inside, collecting samples, and anything else needed for you and your pet’s visit.
If you, or anyone in your home, are sick, positive for COVID-19 or recently traveled from out of state, and your pet has urgent medical needs – You must follow the orders of your healthcare team and our Governor. Send someone else to bring your pet to our clinic. Let us know that someone in the home is ill, as we will use added precautions in handling your pet.
We will continue to follow the recommendations from our state, CDC, and the Vermont Veterinary Medical Association. We will let you know when we are able to change our visit protocols.
Thank you all for your patience and we look forward to seeing you soon!
