Associate Veterinarian:
Flexible schedule and a work-life balance are central to our practice philosophy, and we are looking to add a full (or part) time veterinarian or two to our established and growing clinic. Three or four-day (full-time) work weeks are an option. Part-time schedules also welcome.
Mt. Mansfield Animal Hospital is a short commute to all the greater Burlington area has to offer, yet our clinic looks out and up at our namesake mountain, Mt. Mansfield.

Purchased by Dr. Mather in June of 2019, we are a rapidly growing and updating small animal practice offering a full range of medicine, surgery, and dentistry, and are supportive of the development of any specialty areas of interest. We have Avimark PMS (fully paperless, with old records conversion in progress), complete in-house Idexx lab, CR digital radiography, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound and more. There are excellent specialty referral and 24-hour emergency hospitals nearby.

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Job responsibilities include client education and communication, animal handling, venipuncture, laboratory work, radiographs, surgical monitoring, administering drugs and pharmacy work, assisting with dental procedures and dental radiographs, general doctor and medical procedures assistance, hospital maintenance, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, and rehabilitation.
CLIENT CARE REPRESENTATIVE
Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.
VETERINARIAN ASSISTANT
Ward personnel are responsible for animal handling, bathing and grooming, cleaning, feeding, laundry, waste disposal, and running lab work. Veterinary Assistants will also be trained on and assist with phone and client communications, scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, over-the-counter sales, and assisting with the general operation of the hospital as their skills and background can best assist with that.
