Employment Opportunities

Mt. Mansfield Animal Hospital is currently looking to fill the following positions:

ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN

Skippy and Minnie Buck and friend

Flexible schedule and a work-life balance are central to our practice philosophy, and we are looking to add a full (or part) time veterinarian or two to our established and growing clinic. Three or four-day (full-time) work weeks are an option. Part-time schedules also welcome.

Mt. Mansfield Animal Hospital is a short commute to all the greater Burlington area has to offer, yet our clinic looks out and up at our namesake mountain, Mt. Mansfield.

We have excellent clients and serve a wonderful and appreciative community of pet owners. Applicants of various backgrounds and experience are welcome, and the personal growth, autonomy, and vision of all the doctors at our practice is greatly valued. You can truly shape the scope and direction of your practice here at our privately-owned clinic. Your voice as a practitioner will be heard and respected.

Purchased by Dr. Mather in June of 2019, we are a rapidly growing and updating small animal practice offering a full range of medicine, surgery, and dentistry, and are supportive of the development of any specialty areas of interest. We have Avimark PMS (fully paperless, with old records conversion in progress), complete in-house Idexx lab, CR digital radiography, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound (coming Spring of 2021), and more. There are excellent specialty referral and 24-hour emergency hospitals nearby.

Extremely competitive compensation package will include:

  • Generous salary (or pro-sal or straight production if preferred – all very competitive)
  • Considerable paid time off (vacation, personal, sick)
  • CE allowance and paid days off for CE
  • Paid licensures (Vermont & DEA)
  • Paid VMA memberships (national, state, local)
  • Paid VIN membership
  • Paid liability insurance
  • SIMPLE IRA with company matches up to 3%
  • Pet care discounts
  • Health insurance coverage
  • Assistance with relocation expenses if needed
  • Signing bonus for well-qualified candidates

If you join our team you will be able to have the best of both worlds – the beauty and recreation of the mountains, and the amenities and culture of the Burlington area, all while serving communities with wonderful people and schools. Best of all you will be assisted by our much-loved and very talented staff. Joining us will be a partnership and journey together – not just a job.

Interested parties are highly encouraged to email Dr. Allana Mather at [email protected]
